Oh my gosh! I think we might have a match! I have been looking for Henry's family for about a year and a half and with a name like Brown, I had pretty much given up hope.

I have a WWI draft registration card that gives my James Henry Brown's birthdate as June 13, 1874. He also lists his wife, Ella which was my ggg grandmother so I'm confident this is the right guy. My Henry spent most of his early life in Missouri but I'm not sure if that is where he was born.

What information do you have on his parents beside their name? What is your connection to the family? I have a family tree at and if you send me your email, I'll send you an invite.

I look forward to hear from you soon :-)
