Hi LouAnn. Carondelet in Ozark Co MO. My father was born in Ozark Co, and we have a Smith Reunion there every year. I have never heard of there being a place name like that in Ozark CO. Carondelet is a few miles south of St Louis on the Mississippi, and East Carondelet is across from it on the Illinois side. Understand its old, and was place of original ferry service to St. Louis and westward.. Not to say there may be a cemetery, or something with that name because it is famous place name... Bill Smith
