I just had to comment on this Turnbo page to bring to the readers attention that you can't always believe what you read. This page gives an account of the death of George Hogan son of Cage(Micajah)Hogan. Silas Turnbo states that George Hogan died on the 28th of April 1850. Well if you look at the 1850 census for Ozark county Missouri 45th district pg. 12 dated 13th of Sept.1850 you will find George alive and well still living with his father. Kind of makes one wonder just how many mistakes there are lurking in these writings. I guess we just have to be thankfull for these stories even with the mistakes cause they are all we have and where would we be without them. BTW Micajah Hogan and family were in 1860 Howell co. Missouri census.
