Ed and Edith Gentry owned and operated the RICHVILLE STORE in Eastern Douglas County during the depression years of the 1920-30s. During this time period, as a promotional scheme, they gave chinaware as an incentive for your business. On the back of the plates, dishes, etc is this inscription:

"Compliments of J.E. Gentry, Richville MO, We appreciate your trade"...or something similar.

I am in the process of locating as many of these pieces as possible.

If you have any of these pieces or know of any, I would like very much to attempt to buy them. They will be worth more to me than any other person in the see,

Ed and Edith Gentry were my parents.
