I need help locating information on John Beasley who married a lady by the name of Martha Jane (last name unknown) and were living in Cedar county Missouri around 1880. I have a handwritten family tree prepared by my Great Grandmother Cora Jane Beasley that states that her parents were John and Martha Jane Beasley. Cora Beasley's first marriage was to Thomas East and they had two daughters, Alta and Emma. Cora's second marriage was to George Long Poplin and they had seven children, Flossie, Guss, Elza, Charlie, Tonie(My grandfather), Roxie, and Elsie. Cora's third marriage was to Vernon Carter and they had no children. The family rumor says that Cora was indian but the one census that I find her name on shows her as white. She has very indian facial features and it is possible that she may have been adopted. Her death Certificate states that she was born 7-21-1881 in Pontiac, Ozark County, Missouri. I would appreciate any leads on this family.
