The Cherry Family Bible indicates Joel Cherry b 10/21/1768, he married Nancy Allen on 12/23/1802. and died 1/10/1848, and is believe to be buried in Chester Co. SC. Nancy Allen died 6/24/1859 . d/o John Allen and Middleton Myrick, and comes from Warren Co. NC.Posted by John Myrick Cherry in 2003.

Joel Cherry was the son of Jonathan Cherry b 20 jul 1734 and wife Faithful ( ), Jonathan died Dec 1818 Martin Co. NC, 9 children.
Jonathan was the son of Faithful Cherry Jr., b abt 1710 in Norfolk Co. VA, and wife Susannah ( ) . He died Dec 1788 Martin Co. NC, 12 children.
Faithfil Cherry Jr, son of Faithful Cherry, b 1662 Norfolk co. VA. and wide Patience ( ). He died 1727 Norfolk co. VA, 6 children.
Faithful Cherry was the son of John Cherry b 1619 England, and wife Elizabeth Faithful, b abt 1625. He died 1698 Norfolk Co. Va, 10 children.
