A follow-up to my own posting! Ha!..As Flora Ann Williamson (Caldwell 1st)(Byrd 2nd) wound up in Oregon County in Jobe/Oak Grove/Myrtle areas, I wonder if anyone at all would have any tidbit of info regarding her parents, although they came from St Clair County, I believe. Father was William Williamson, who was on 1870 census, but disappeared prior to 1880 census (either died or divorced), and after Flora's birth about 1871/72. This was the St. Clair County census. Any info on his death, divorce, burial, etc would be greatly appreciated. Her mother listed as Sarah Williamson on 1870 St Clair County census b. Ohio about 1842. Sarah and William Williamson had a son, James(or Jeff)b. about 1866/67, and another daughter, Alwelle(alwilla?) b. about 1867/68. Sarah remarried to a
William Emerson in 1878 in Osceola. But William Emerson has disappeared prior to the ST Clair County 1880 census also. Can anyone provide any info on this 'Sarah', her maiden name, death, burial, etc? and maybe any info on William Emerson?
They had a daughter named Sarah Emerson b. about 1879.
