Hi Katherine! Recently I discovered my, Isaac and Huldah Lewis, living in Nodaway Co. in 1880. They were in Monroe County, Iowa in 1870,where my grandmother Myra (Almira) was born. The grandchildren living with them were the children of Josephus (Isaac's son) and Eliza Jane Lewis, who also lived in Monroe Co. in 1870 (see census) They both died in the early 1870's (don't know why) and are buried there. According to cemetery records Huldah Lewis is buried there too. I guess she moved back to be with some of her other kids after Isaac died, as he's not listed at the cemetery in Monroe Co. I don't know where he ended up yet. I'm descended from Isaac's son, Thomas, who married Ann Maria Reynolds and lived in Mt. Ayr, Iowa where my grandparents met and my mom was born. I don't have much more than that which is why I'm still searching. I'd sure like to discover Isaac's parents though! Email me direct if you care to reply..........Good luck, Terry
