Hi Gail,

I am also researching an orphan in Nodaway County in the 1860's. The family she is living with in 1870 is just 3 doors away from a Thompson family. One of the grandsons of the people my orphan is living with, married a Thompson. I think there might be a connection between these orphans.

I need to get more details about your orphans for 1870.
