Moore birth mystery

My grandfather, Clyde Ferdinand Moore, was born in Nodaway County, Mo on October 14, 1883. According to a early family geneology, he had a twin brother, Homer Malvern. This was quite a surprise to me and my father, Clyde's son, since none of the family realized grandfather was a twin. In researching this information, I located a newspaper index that listed my ggrandparents, George Washington Moore & Nancy Jane Hall, as having a son born on this date. I was able to download some birth records for the period from the Nodaway County genealogy webpage. These records indicate that Homer Malvern is the son that was born in the county--same birthdate as my grandfather. Is there anyone in the Maryville area that would be able to locate the birth records for this period and see if both Clyde and Homer are listed? I live in Arizona and cannot get there. I emailed someone in the county but was not able to get information that would solve this dilemna. Thanks for your assistance.
