Hello my name is Charles Ballard and Will and Mary Miller were my gr-grandparents also. I have a lot of information on them, but I can't find them after 1880. In the 1880 Mcdonald County,MO census, I found William and his parents.
1880 Census Missouri DAR MF# T-9 Roll# 701
Center Township McDonald County Page-5
F/N H/N Name R/S Age BP FBP MBP
44 45 Miller, John E. W/M 35 Ohio Ohio Ohio

" " Son William W/M 8 MO Ohio Kent
" " Son John H. W/M 6 " " "
" " Son Egleston W/M 4 " " "
" " Daug Mary A W/F 2 " " "
I know that Mahala Jane Carter was not born in Kentucky but was born in Iowa. William B.F. Miller and Mary Shockley were married on December 22, 1893 in McDonald County, MO. My grandmother, Osie Elwisie Miller was born to them on January 26,1897. I cannot find them in the 1900 Census of Missouri. Ihaven't been able to go to the library much to look for them, i've been looking mostly on line. I have more stuff if anyone is interested. Thank you Charles Ballard
