This couple is listed in the 1880 census as Berkley Angelo and Matilda Angelo with daughter Lola Angelo. The correct listing is Herman Angelo Berkley, wife Matilda Berkley and daughter Lola Berkley (born 1880). They subsequently had 3 more children: Elsie Berkley (m. Norseworthy) Elmer Berkley (m. Bessie (Yentzer, or Aubel) Bessie's mother signed as Minnie Stansbury. And Barnum Berkley (born 1891 or 92). I am looking for lany information on this family. I believe that Matilda
(possibly know as Tillie) died between 1892 and 1900 in Newton County. I have so far been unable to locate a death notice or burial site. Herman remarried a Cora Ireland. Lola Berkley m. Broan I believe.

Any information would be greatly appreciated - even something that might point me in the right direction. Matilda is my brick wall at this point. She is my gg grandmother.

Sue
