12 Pioneer Family Reunion, 19 September 2004

The descendants of Boucher, Brite/Bright, Cagle, Hewlett, Mann, Moody, Morris, Schooling, Spilman, Woods and Wormington families are having their 71st Reunion in Monett at City Park, September 19, 2004 at 12 o'clock. We have long tables, chairs and tablesettings for all who come!

Bring a covered dish, enjoy a variety of family recipes and exchange family histories with us.

Our ancestors can be found at area cemeteries, Dry Valley Cemetery, established by Benj. Woods in 1846 for his wife Elizabeth Winters; Mt Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery established on Hewlett land, and the Boucher Cemetery nearby, with John Spilman and Mary Boucher, a few Pruitt relatives, some Cagles and infants of James P Hewlett.

We had about 130 attendees last year and hope to have a few more this year! We have over 300 known descendants from across the 50 states! The Reunion was established in 1934 and has continued ever since!
