I had not heard that all the Union soldiers had been exhumed! My gggrandfather was Richard J. Poindexter of Dade County, MO. He also was a member of the 2nd Kan Calvary, Co.B. I would be interested in information you have on them. I have a copy of the battles they fought in. All I could find on Richard was that he died in US Army Hospital in Ft Smith Arkansas from disease, and never located a burial site. I am afraid he is in a mass or unmarked grave if there was haste in burial.
