William STITES and Mary Clementine HALLMARK were md 1857 in Arkansas and moved back to Missouri by the 1860 census. On Widow's civil war papers, she states that the family records were destroyed in war, 1861, being burned in her residence. William and Clementine were in Kansas in 1862-1865-?. (They moved back to Missouri by 1870 census)
I am interested in stories of this 'burning' in Granby in 1861. Frances
