Price-Workman-Atchinson in Seneca, 1883-1954

Digging for my family who were long residents of Seneca and members of the Baptist church, on the distaff side, anyway. Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Price was the wife of John L. Workman and the mother of two sons by him, Robert Lee and Frank or John Franklin Workman. She also raised his daughter, Rosetta Ellen Workman whose mother d. in infancy. Nancy resided Newton from the 1880s until her d. in 1947. (31 Aug., 1856-8 Apr., 1947) Her second husband was John Gibbons, who ran a saddlery & harness shop in Seneca and was a Mason. This couple is bur. together at the Seneca Cemetery, where Rosetta is also at rest. Rosetta m. Gilbert Atkinson and had Frederick Atkinson in July of 1900. Gilbert d. in 1939 but Fred survived Rosetta at her death on 23 Mar., 1954. Nancy is the dau. of William Price & Eve Phoebe Selsor who had 8 other children. Her att'y was Herbert H. Douglas of Neosho & her physician was T. B. Duemler.
