Seeking info. about the children, and parent's of Curtis & Dessie "Nettleton" Grissom, who lived at Parma, New Madrid Co., Missouri on the 1920, & 1930 Census! Curtis was born Dec. 22, 1887 in Indiana, the son of Thomas L. & Emily "Woolsey" Grissom. Curtis married Dessie Nettleton abt. 1883, Dessie was born June 5, 1890 in Illinois, the daughter of Newton Horace & Nancy Leannah "Cato" Nettleton. She died Dec. 19, 1975 in Detatur, Macon Co., Illinois, while living with a daughter! Curtis died Dec. 23, 1963 in Clarkton, Mo., he and Dessie were buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Clarkton, Dunklin Co., Mo.! They had 12 children, but only 10 are known. They were John W., Charley, Ida Belle, Beula, Bernice, Melvina, Maurie, Ruby L., Curtis Jr., and Orville K. Grissom. I would like to contact anyone with info. about this family, and will appreciate any reply's to my query!
