Depends on what you consider "proof". According to a 1954 book by Norman Bloss Mavity "Wesley Mavity was born about 1803 and died about 1835. His wife was named Ellen but her maiden name and time and place of marriage are unknown. Wesley moved from Ripley County Indiana to New Madrid Co MO where he was killed by wolves. His estate was settled in Ripley County Indiana court. Wesley and Ellen had children Elizabeth, Mary J. and Rebecca."
You might try to obtain records from Ripley Co. Indiana. Good luck.
