Trying to find information on NATHAN B HURT and his wife, SELENA SANDERS. They moved to the Sikeston/Morehouse area by about 1880 and appear on the SCOTT CO census. Nathan died about 1890,at age 36, Selena before him in 1886 at age 32 (in childbirth). Their eldest daughter, NORA HURT, married JOHN SPENCE and the couple settled in Morehouse, where the RAUSCH-SPENCE Methodist Church was named for them (and the Rausch family) in about 1960. I'm trying to determine how Nathan died and perhaps where he and Selena are buried. Selena had relatives in SCOTT CO (SANDERS and RIGGINS families). Both came to MO from Johnson CO IL about 1879. Thanks for any insight!
