HURT SPENCE

HELP! Need help with Nora HURT who married John A. SPENCE about 1895. They lived in Morehouse Village, West Township, where John worked at the lumber yard. Nora was active in the Methodist Church. There is a small Methodist church named for the family - Rausch-Spence, I believe.
Nora and John had several children: Mildred, who died at age 7 months (1898) and Marshall and Susie. Susie married a Mr. Clayton, and Marshall and his family moved to California at some point. Nora died in 1947. I'm trying to locate info on Nora Hurt Spence's father, Nathan B. Hurt. Appreciate any help!
