Hi Pat. This takes a bit of explanation. My grandfather James Henry Warren lived most of his life in Portageville and Lilbourn. I have been told that he is buried in a cemetary just outside of Lilbourn. I got this info from 3 siblings that took me 20+ years to find. They know he was buried in Lilbourn, but cannot remember the name of the cemetary. All I am trying to do is find out where he is buried and who handled the burial. I have been in contact with Ponders Funeral Home in Lilbourn, (who insist they are the only funeral parlor in existence within Lilbourn.) They say they have no record of him being buried via their funeral parlor. I am trying to obtain a death certificate on my grandfather in the hopes of getting his parent's names to further the line. My father died very young. Never spoke of his grandparents on his father's side to my siblings. They were raised by their mother's family after their mother and our father seperated and moved away. I know this is a tall order, but if there is any other funeral parlors within the Lilbourn area, I would reall appreciate their phone numbers. I have did a yellow pages search for funeral homes and all I get is Ponders. Thanks for taking the time to read this. And thanks for helping out everyone as you do.
