A book will soon be released that is rich in Montgomery County family history. Called "Bushwhackers and Broken Hearts," it consists of letters from home sent to a Union soldier from Montgomery County during the Civil War. Strictly non-fiction, it provides details and commentary about many Montgomery County residents, especially the Sanders family of Danville, the Bartons of Bear Creek, and the Murrys of High Hill.
