Does anyone remember the gathering that took place the 2nd Saturday of August near New Florence/Montgomery City, Mo?It was done by black folks. The last one I can remember attending was in the 1930's. If you have any stories, clipping, pictures, you can share, please do. I, especially remember the fried chicken and fresh squeezed lemonade and the big blocks of ice.
