I have several old papers and thought someone might be able to use this. Lots of old names and places mentioned. Enjoy. Another Pioneer. Mrs. Emiline Davidson, age 82 years 2 months and 5 days died at her home six miles south east of this place last Saturday. Sunday at two p.m. Rev. R. E. McQuie delivered the funeral sermon at the home, after which the remmaines were interrred in the old Anderson grave yard. The number attending the last rites was very large. Mrs. Davidson was born in Montomery county on the farm where Pearl Gentry now lives., Hence she was one among the oldest settlers. Her maiden name was Cundiff, being sister to Rob Cundiff of Saline county and Mrs. Joe Gentry and Mrs. hart of this county. March 12 th 1846 she was married to alfred Davidson. Five daughters survive the deceased: Mrs. Callie Millikan, Mrs. Presley Anderson, Mrs. Elizabeth Wheeler, Mrs. Frank Craig and a single daughter, Miss Annie. For over 40 years she has been a member of the Baptist Church and her last yeaers were cheered with the hope of a blessed immortality. Notify Administrator about this message?
