George FIX, a farmer of Frenchtown, was born in France, March 05,1826; came to America and was settled in Monroe county in 1828, with his father. Married Adaline Nedan, of Monroe, May 15, 1854. She was born May 22, 1838, and died January 03, 1860. Her children are: Adaline, born February 14, 1855, and died in infancy; Sarah E., born June 05, 1856, died October 19, 1888; Joseph G., born September 19, 1858; John, born November 25, 1859, died May 10, 1860. He married second wife, Julia Decauter, of Monroe, May 19, 1860. She was born in October, 1849, and died July 27, 1872. Her children are: George, born March 19, 1861; Moses, born April 17, 1862; Octiavo, born June 24, 1864; Isadore, born June 06, 1856; Dorathy, born June 27, 1869. He married his third wife, Julia Robert, January 13, 1873. She was born April 08, 1849. Her children are: Wallace, born November 26, 1873; Catherine, March 07, 1874; Mary F., born December 19, 1875; Clarence, born October 15, 1877, died March 02, 1880; Leona, born January 04, 1880, died January 30, 1883; Edward, born January 20, 1882; Leona M., born May 31, 1884; Agnes, born November 12, 1886, died January 31, 1889; Lewis, born May 12, 1889, died September 17,1889. Mr. Fix has been a farmer for 44 years.

Joseph FIX, came from France and settled in Frenchtown township in 1828, when it was nothing but a dense wilderness. The city of Monroe consisted at that time of a small hamlet. His wife's parents were also among the earliest settlers of Monroe County. Mr. Fix voted at the first election held in the township. The ols State road was the only thoughfare in Monroe county at the time. Mr. Fix's wife is Sophia Latour, who was born in Monroe county, September, 1824. They were married in Monroe City, June 07, 1843. Their family consists of Joseph, residing at Frenchtown; Mary Ann (Revor), resides at Monroe; Fredrick, resides at Frenchtown; Philip, Columbus, Oliver, Adaline, and Henry; the last five residing at home. Mr. Fix's parents are both dead; their names were Joseph and Ann (Stroymeyer) Fix. His wifes's parents are John B. and Agnes Latour. His address is Monroe City, Michigan and his business is farming.
David GEE, and Zoa Suzor, were married at Monroe, Michigan, in the year 1865. Their children are: Joseph, born April 06, 1866; Mary, May 05, 1868; John I., September 19, 1869; Louis, January 29, 1872; Francis, October30, 1873; Emily, October 21, 1875; Fred, February 04, 1878; Julia, July 07, 1880. Mrs. Gee was born in Frenchtown, in 1843. Her parents J.B. and Maggie (Peppin) Suzor, settled in Monroe county, in the year 1810. David's parents came to Monroe county in 1813. Their names are Francis and Lucy (Maron) Gee. He was born in LaSalle township in 1837, and is engaged in Farming and stock-raising. Address Monroe, Michigan.
