Hi Mary Beth,

I am interested in folks who lived in Stoutsville. I have blood relatives and relatives by marriage named SMELSER, KENDALL, CARR, CHOWNING, BURGESS, HOBBS, VANSCHOIACK, COX, POWERS, POAGE, ELY, SCOBEE, RICHART, VIOLETTE, van DEVENTER, MENEFEE and more.

I am particularly interested to know if you have information on the H. O. B. Pollard family and wife Amelia--she was a COX. H.O.B. was the proprietor of the Valley Hotel in Stoutsville prior to his death in 1901.

I have been to Monroe County each year in the fall, so I have done a lot of research on these families, even been to Stoutsville and Stoutsville Cemetery.

Thanks for any information.
Ginny
