Hi there. I am known to a lot of people in Monroe as "Miss Stoutsville" because I do a lot of research and photo restoration of the old town that once was. I even go down to the valley once in a while where the town once was and still roam the area. Robert Stout was who the town was named after. How much information are you wanting and what particular thing about it do you want to know. I have pretty much everything......just ask or email me at the following address. kirtlink@missvalley.com and I will be happy to send you whatever you need. My father was born there in 1919 and most of relatives resided there in the late 1800's. When my father and mother passed away a few years back, I just went nuts with the old town and have just about all the info you could want. Thanks.
