Permelia Forbes is "most likely" a mis-spelling of Permelia Forbis who was married to Robert Forbis in Jackson Twp., Monroe Co. MO. A search of the 1880 Federal Census for Missouri reveals no Permelia Forbes but does record a Permelia Forbis in Monroe Co. MO.
