interested in information on James E Hayden, born 26 oct 1795. He married Christina (Kitty) Skees 17 Feb 1817 in Madison County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Richard and Anne Durbin Skees, born 19 jan 1798. They moved to Hardin County, Kentucky shortly after their marriage, residing there until the move to Monroe County, Missouri sometime between 1850 and 1860. In 1860 they are listed on the census of Monroe County, Missouri in the Indian Township with their daughter Teresa, age 34..A son, Richard A, and his wife, Mary J, both aged 26 live nearby. In 1870, James has died and Christina is in the household of her daughter, Catherine along with Catherine's husband, J. E. Durbin and their childrenm Teresa Olive, Rebecca Ann, John C, and Christina. 2 of James and Christina's children remained in Hardin County, Kentucky, William and Julia, as they had married prior to 1850. Clarissa, James L, and Teresa I have no further information on aside from their names on the 1850 Census of Hardin County, except for Teresa ..Richard disappears from the Monroe county, census after 1860,at least in the Indian Creek area. They would have been members of the nearest Catholic congregation. Any information as to death dates, marriages, etc. of these people would be greatly helpful and appreciated...
