I am searching for informatiion regarding William Oliver Creason, b. 10-2-1840 and died 7-20-1874. I believe him to be a son of Goodwin Creason and Sarah Taylor Creason. Family info indicated that William Oliver was a veteran of the Civil War, may have lost an arm during the war and was killed by a former employee. One of the family questions was if he had been married. He may have been residing with his parents at the time of his death. He is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery south of Paris. Records indicate that his mother who died 7-15-1874 is also buried in Mt. Zion, but that his father who died in 1882 is buried in Livingston County, Missouri, with another son and his family. Was Mt. Zion perhaps flooded when Mark Twain Lake was created?
Any help on this Creason family or any other Creason information from your county would be helpful.
