Last found on Mississippi Co., Mo, census, St. James Tp. 1900. Would like to know if he died in the county and where buried and when.

Will state on census he was born 1837/1838 in Georgia, parents born in SC (although one may read Maryland).

He might have married before 1865 and served in Civil War. No evidence.

In 1865 he marries in Union Co., IL; on 1870 census he is in Bollinger Co., Missouri and by 1900 on the Mississippi Co., Missouri census and then no more...

His name is usually Jesse S. Waters but on one census he is John.

His children:

Josephine (Snowden)
Victoria (Hudson, Easley)
Martha (Hill)
Alonzo

His wife 1865 was Amelia Ann Fisher
