Long Prairie, Miss Co, MO - help

The following information was found in the census:

1880 census of Long Prairie, Mississippi County, Missouri has the following information:
Martha E. PARDON as the head of the house, age 36, born Alabama, both parents born in Tennessee.
Daughter Iantha V., age 18, born in Arkansas
Son Joel B., age 16, born in Arkansas
Martha G., age 11, daughter, born in MO
Son Elbert J., age 10 (born in MO
Emily J., age 8, daughter (born in MO
Newton, age 7, son (born in MO
Addie, age 4, daughter.
Last name is spelled with an "o", not an "e" here - Pardon.

From family history, Martha's husband was Richard Thomas or Thomas Richard PARDON or PARDEN. He apparently died before 1880, as he is not in the above census.

Does anyone know any sources of information for Long Prairie? Does it still exist? Any help would be appreciated.
