The Musick Family Association of America seeks information about JOEL MUSICK, son of Abraham Musick, and Sarah Lewis. Believed to be the father of another Abraham Musick, b. Dec 25, 1791 & buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Miller County. Joel may have had sons Leander, David, & Abraham, some of whom reportedly lived in Miller County. Also believed to have been married to Catherine Sullins, or Sullens. Joel reportedly drowned while crossing a river in South Carolina on a "floating bridge," about late 1700 or early 1800. These Musicks perhaps lived near the village of Scrivner, now no longer now existing. Maybe related to the Miles and Scrivner families. Please send information to the address below, or call the number below. Thanks for any assistance.
