Leona McBroom Kaufman Kohm
Mrs. Leona Kohm, 77, former resident of Olean
and Enon communities, died August 19, 1947 at
the home of her son, John, in Glasford, Illinois,
following a stroke on the morning of August 15.
Funeral services were held at the Olean Baptist
Church last Friday with Rev. Williams officiating.
Burial was made in the Allen Cemetery with Kays
Funeral service assisting.
Mrs. Kohm was born at High Point the daughter
of Andrew and Helen McBroom. She was married to
John D. Kaufman of Olean in 1906. Mr. Kaufman
died in 1919. They were the parents of three children;
John, Ernest and Dolly Mae who died in infancy.
Later she married Theodore Kohm of Enon, who
also preceded her in death. She had lived in Illinois
with her son for the past ten months.
Survivors besides the two sons are a stepson, Logan
Kaufman of Centralia, Mo. and one step daughter, Mrs.
Edith Harris of Olean.
