Not exactly sure what it is you are looking for. The census info for Jackson Twp Callaway Co MO lists Lawrence D Hoover's father as Edward but the 1930 lists him as Edgar.
You can find most of this info for free by going to Familysearch.org and signing up (no charge but you need to get a password)
