I have found out substantially most of the information about M.L. Duncan Esther in this Thread:

(Substantial Thank-Yous to the prior posts for helping flesh out the details here)

M.L. Duncan Esther is Mary Louisa Williams who married Richard Marion Duncan in Madison County, Missouri. She died in Esther, MO. I have the only known picture of her in her mid 60's. (excellent picture of her)

Mary's husband in his Obituary was stated as converting to the Free Will Baptist Church in Mine La Motte (there in Madison County, MO).... so Richard most likely introduced their daughter Ethel to Elija Tallent which is how they got together and married initially... havent proven this yet though!

One of their daughters was Ethel Velvie (Velva)-- our line
Ethel was married to Elija Tallent sometime before 1938, because when Ethel's dad died in 1939 she was married to 2nd husband John Burks/Burke and living in St Louis MO. (This also corroborates her son Finley Burke being born 1940/1941 since my mom said Ethal had Finley the "same time Ethals daughter Goldie had her first child which occured when Pearl Harbor was bombed)

Of particular note to genealogists about this Duncan Family:

If your family is part of the Richard Marion Duncan/Johnathan Marion Duncan lines in Madison County MO or Arcadia MO, then I have some pictures you may contact me for high res scans of:

1) James franklin Duncan had son Clarence Humerick- we have a full nice quality orig picture of him that is much clearer and complete than the one currently posted on genealogy websites

2) Mary Louisa Williams- we have a nice full-picture of her in her mid 60's

I would really enjoy any details or background on this Free Will Baptist church in Madison County if anyone has it or maybe some pictures perhaps?

my email is unchanged from the original repost here
