Thank you so much for your help. I see what you are saying...there are two Absalom Beavers that were born about the same time in Indiana. My ancestor moved to Missouri and got married, and the other one remained in Indiana, at least through the time that he mustered out in June of 1864. They could be from the same extended family...

There is a Daniel Beaver in Indiana. I sent you his second wife's probate which lists their child, her 2 daughters from previous relationship(s), and Daniel and Christiana's sons. I have more information from deed records regarding Daniel's land in Indiana. It will be the weekend before I can send
