Some conflicting info:

When John Marlo Wheeler registered for the draft in 1917, he listed birthdate as 21 Nov 1890.

1900 Denver census:
Emily J Wheeler b. July 1868 Louisiana, widow, 4 children, 3 living, both parents b. England
Violet " b. Feb 1887 Colo, both parents b. England [can't be right if Emily right]
John b. Nov 1890 " " "
William b. Sep 1896 " " "

In 1910 Edgewater, Colo census, Emily Sanders again listed Louisiana birthplace, and the Wheeler children listed father b. Mo. and mother b. La.
