Thx for all the great info! Bert & Susan had 13 or 14 children...I even found where they are buried in Monett, Mo. What I can't seem to do is verify who Bert's people were. I can't find a record of him until 2-20-1900 when he appears in Barry Co, Mo as a 24 yr old, to marry Susan Laurene Evens. There are possible parents, but I can't find anything that links them to Bert. His POB is Shrine, Kansas--it may be a place, but it's not a town, and I can't find it. His name is spelled SO many ways. I have found/developed a great record of him AFTER 1900, but not before :-)
