It would really help if you knew Elizabeth's maiden name.
Did any of David and Elizabeth's children live long enough to have a death certificate? Missouri started recording deaths in 1910. Some of the children are in Oregon Co, MO in 1880. What happened to them after that date? Do you know who Mary/Polly married?
