15 Neidling's including Charles are listed in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Egypt Mills:

Charles apparently served with 56th Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia (Union) Civil War, but spelled Niedling:

(If this was same Charles, he died before CW pensions were established 1890, and the EMM units were "stay home until called" regiments, so most were not federally recognized)
