This is my family line : The James Crawford listed is my great-grandfather.. His parents were Elizabeth Matilda Cox and Wright Crawford ,he died 1848/49 .Married in Gasconade CO. 1841. There was also a daughter, my family says her name was Rebecca but another searcher says Margaret. No solid info on this.
She then married A. T. Willis, he died 1862 .
E. Matilda died in 1895, she and many of her Willis children are buried in Mack Creek Cem.
My line moved to Schulter, Oklahoma. James Cox Crawford married Malissa Caldwell, daughter of Buck Caldwell and Malinda Jane Stokes,Maries Co. MO.
J.C. died 1917, buried in Henryetta,Ok. 9 children from this marriage amd most lived in Okmulgee,Adair,Tulsa and Mayes COs, Ok.
Have NO firm info on the parents of E. Matilda but she was born in Kentucky 1822. Am searching.
