I am not related, but:

- shows the death of Gertrude K. Haley (wife of Robert A.) in 1951 and sadly also the death of their daughter Gertrude Laverne in 1932, which shows her father's name as Robert Austin Haley.

I wonder if you could contact the library to find an obituary for Gertrude? It might mention Jerome (or married names for the girls).

ssdi.rootsweb.com shows David T. Haley, b. 16 Jun 1916, d. 12 Apr 2003, last residence St. Louis.
