It can get very confusing trying to keep all the bits & pieces of info gathered in order. Computers are wonderful but I prefer to have my notes/documentation on paper.....this way I can spread them out around me to review and look for clues I might have missed. Especially on my hard to track ancestors.

Keep inmind what you already have found.

Marriage record of William E. Carter & Amanda L Brackenridge in Bigelow, Holt Co, MO....the same place that Opal's first sibling is born.

1910 you have Opal 'Carter' with her parents & siblings.

1919 one of these married siblings die (Eva May Conant) and her parents are listed as Wm.E. Carter & Amanda L. Breckenridge. You can print out the original death record from the Missouri site I sent you.

1930 you have Opal 'Middleton'(single)living with her married sister Myrtle Hollowell. Here is your big link. Proving the parents of Myrtle Hollowell, 2nd marr to Sargent, will help you prove that Opal Carter & Opal Middleton are the same person.

Paperwork (?you dont state what?) that states Opal Middleton Franke parents were Mr.Carter & MS Breckenridge.

Ordering a copy (of their mothers)Amanda Johnson's death record and checking for her cemetery record in Holton, Jackson Co, KS should be a top priority. With luck you will find an Obit on her that will list your Opal (Virginia) Franke as a daughter.

Good luck with writing to the submitter listed on the Familysearch.org site. With the info he has....sure looks like he is a descendant.

Marsha
