Missouri Census 1860 1870
Does anyone have a good source of information for the MO census in those years? I've been using ancestry's search engine, but can't find who I'm looking for. They're in the 1850 and 1880 census, but I can't find them in 60 or 70.
Here's who I'm looking for...
Listed in 1850 census, Disctrict 24,Crawford County, MO.
Head of Household: G. Richardson (George)Age 55
Wife:E. Richardson (Nancy Ellen McCartney)50
Daughter:M.M. Richardson 19
Son:G.W. Richardson 15 (George)
Son:A.J. Richardson 13
Son:J.H. Richardson 10
Son:H.C. Richardson6 (Henry Clay)
When you pull this up on Ancestry's site is shows G.W. to be 75 years old, however it's a mistake made by whoever entered it from the origonal document. On the origonal document the "attended school in last year" box is checked by his name, along with the other children.
Link to photo of census page, click on it to enlarge.

The Richardson family does not continue onto the next page.
Now, here's where it gets confusing...
Henry Clay is my Grandfather's Grandfather. I have quite a bit of info on him, but not much on his parents.
I have Henry's death cert and it does state their names. I also have thier marriage license. They were married in TN, which is where all of these children were born.
I have Henry's obit from the local paper in 1928. It states that he has 2 living siblings who are residents of St. James, MO. A brother named Thomas F. Richardson, and a sister who is only referred to as Mrs. John Vaughn.
All of the info I can find on a Thomas F. Richardson shows him to have been born in 1855, which would make Nancy Ellen 55 at the time...Is it possible that she gave birth at that age?
Here's another one...Henry was 87 when he died. If M.M. Richardson is his surviving sister she would be 100 at the time. This seems highly unlikely.
If his surviving sister isn't M.M. then it must be a sister who was born after 1850. That would mean that Nancy Ellen had 2 children after age 50...
ANY input good or bad is GREATLY appreciated. I'm stumped here and could use it! lol!
Thanks in advance!
