Beverly,
My grandparents (Boehler's)from Nebraska, moved to California and buried in Nebraska always talked about one of the relatives marrying an Indian woman and having a "bunch of wild Indians" but I cannot remember the man's name. I can ask my father, he'll know. Don't be offended by what I am repeating that I heard because I am 5/8ths Alaskan Native/Inupiat. My Boehler grandparents were German. My mother's parents were halfbreed's, too (her mother was 1/2 Irish and 1/2 malemuit)(her father was 1/2 Russian and 1/2 malemuit). My Boehler grandparents thought my mother looked Japanese (right after the war and they'd lost their son Clyde in the war) so didn't want much to do w/her until I was born. Cheryl
