thank you so much Marsha. the more i learn the less i know
the 1900 census in Lincoln Co. Mo sounds right. George Green & wife Ida. - the Theodore Dowell in the 1870 census in Lincoln Co. sounds right. but the marriage William Cox to Ida Dowell don't sound right.??? the 2 Dowell children were born 1906 & 1903 and she is Mrs Ida Miller in 1919 signed for her daughter Velma to marry in St. Louis. that marriage i am sure is the right one. that is about the only thing i am sure of at this point.
but you have given me some good info to look into. thanks
nadine
wish i knew where they were in 1910, can't find the Green children either.
Inez Green married John William Newhouse, no children. Florence Green married Karl Stoye, and had an auto parts store in Desota, Mo. both have George Green and Ida Cox as
parents. Velma has Theodore Dowell and Ida Cox as parents.
the search continues./ nadine
