Thanks for answering my post.
I have found Elias Tucker b.MO on 1860 Grayson Co., TX census and Ellis Tucker b.MO on 1870 Fannin Co., TX.
They seem to be the same man because the wife Martha and
children look like the same.
This is all I have found and not sure if this is my Ellis
Tucker.
My Ellis married Martha Susan Tucker in Travis Co., TX abt.
1871-72.
Family tales have Ellis being born about 1832 in CT, but
I don't think anyone knows for sure where he was born.
When he died his children were all girls and they were
too young to know where he was born for sure.
Ellis died 1880 in Travis Co., TX from Typhoid Fever.
I would appreciate any help finding information on these
two Elias and Ellis Tuckers.
My guess is he is the same Ellis that married Martha Susan
but what happened to his family before his marriage to Martha Susan.
Thanks,
Myrtle
