I am looking for any information on a Lurt Barker.
My Great Grandmother was Mary Leona Ernst. and this is how the family story goes, "Mary lived and worked on The Barker Farm, somewhere in Missouri, around early 1900's. Mary got pregnant by Lurt Barker. Lurt Barker was a cowboy and not ready to settle down. The Barker's had money and put some money in the Bank for Mary Leona to care for the child. Mary Leona's brother Ed Ernst ended up with the money...

I'm not here about the money.. All I am wanting is more information on my blood line- Great Grandfather Lurt Barker.. Who is he, where did he come from, birth dates, history,death dates, pictures anything.....
One of the other stories told is that, "Mary was living in a camp in a tent in Sapulpa,OK.(April 1901) When she got pregnant by Lurt Barker. He was to leave a large amount of money in the Commerce Bank of Oklahoma for the care of the child. Mary never got any of it...
