Orphan Train to Eldorado Springs Missouri

I'm researching the ancestry of my son-inlaw, Robert Benjamin Thompson. His gr-grandfather and two of his siblings were on the orphan train that stopped in Eldorado Springs Missouri. Year unknown. They were adopted by a pharmacist by the name of Thompson. I don't know his first name. Robert's gr-grandfather later had a son, William Benjamin Thompson b: in Missouri about 1910. He married Fay Blackmore b: abt:1912
Some of the family may have moved to Iowa and Oklahoma in later years. William B Thompson has a son, Lawrence Roy Thompson that was born abt.1943 in Bristow,Creek co. Oklahoma. He served in the navy. I would like to find out the biological surname of the children that was adopted by Mr.Thompson.
